I was hired by Tar + Feather once again to work on this commercial for a new IQOS product. The scene was recorded using a number of lavalier microphones and a single FuMA ambisonic mic. I was tasked with mixing and spatializing the microphones, integrating the ambient ambisonic microphone, and to correct any noise issues present in the source material. In addition, much of the dialog was edited afterwards to fit the narrative better presenting a challenge regarding cross-mic interference and phase correction in the ambient background noise.
I edited, mixed, spatialized, and mastered the final ambisonic mix for the video which was to debut on the Samsung Gear VR.
